About the Role

BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract basis.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the US reporting on the bank side, supporting all branch network and branch-level employee reporting, as well as a segment called Premiere and a segment called BRM, which is business relationship managers.

The individual will be responsible for their day-to-day frontline reporting that feeds into bankers' scorecard dashboards, which eventually drives incentives.

This role allows the candidate(s) to work in an established institution and with multiple groups within BMO, which will allow candidate(s) to build effective skills and confidence.

The individual is exposed to other lines of business, as there are lots of opportunities for learning, growth, and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Intake practice with report mockup and developments
  • Building, automating, and testing dashboards in PowerBI
  • Linking data within the dashboards (end-to-end process from intake to implementation)
  • Participate in meetings and understand what the line of business requires
  • Pulling from SQL databases and working with large sets of data from different platforms
Requirements
  • Data Reporting Analysis: 3 years (Required)
  • Project Management Experience: 3 years (Required)
  • Financial Background: 3 years (Required)
  • Expert SQL and/or PowerBI skills (or similar): 3 years (Required)
  • Previous Programming Experience: 3 years (Desired)
Education/Certifications
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma (Required)
