We are seeking a highly skilled Military Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Calian Group Ltd. in Oromocto, NB.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be around $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing psychological assessment and treatment services to military personnel at the medical clinic based in CFB Gagetown. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting the military community, addressing operational trauma, and supporting occupational health initiatives.
Responsibilities- Conduct psycho-diagnostic assessments with an adult population, including differential diagnosis.
- Provide professional services related to the diagnosis, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and prevention of psychological, emotional, psycho-physiological, and behavioral disorders with an adult population.
- Administer appropriate diagnostic tests for psychometric assessment, interpret the results, and prepare psychological evaluations.
- Report results and interpretations of tests, interviews, and evaluations to the multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide treatment of various mental health conditions for Canadian Armed Forces members using evidence-based practice, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapies.
- Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary mental health team in case reviews.
- Lead and participate in the development, instruction, and counseling during sessions for specific mental illnesses, such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, and stress management.
- Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University by the Canadian Psychological Association or American Psychological Association.
- Registered as a Psychologist and authorized for autonomous practice with the appropriate provincial licensing body.
- Two years of full-time, post-graduate experience, under a license for autonomous practice within the last five years, completing psycho-diagnostic assessments, including differential diagnosis, and providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapy for adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other various mental health illnesses.
