About the Opportunity
Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a motivated and experienced sales professional to join our Group Advantage team as a Senior Retirement Sales Consultant. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your skills and expertise to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Job Overview
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities
Sell Group Retirement Savings and Financial Wellness Programs: 60% of your time will be focused on business development, identifying new opportunities, and building relationships with senior managers across Canadian Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management.
- Bid for new business to increase revenue and expand existing customer base.
- Champion RBC Group Advantage value proposition with partners and in the external market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, prospects, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Provide exceptional client service and support to ensure long-term retention and growth.
IDentify Referral Opportunities: Leverage your network and partnerships to identify opportunities for referrals to other RBC products and services.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong prospecting, networking, and business development skills.
- Proven sales success in meeting and exceeding targets.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Independent, entrepreneurial spirit with self-management skills to achieve planned goals.
- Experience creating a referral network and a current, extensive network of 'centers of influence.'
- Fluency in both French and English to serve RBC's bilingual clientele.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Excellent presentation, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Highly developed PC and mobile literacy with demonstrated digital capability using Microsoft Office products.
- Action-oriented and creative business acumen.
