Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at OM Scrap Metal. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including scheduling appointments, preparing meeting minutes, and maintaining records.
- Supervise and train other workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and determine and establish office procedures and routines.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and answer electronic enquiries.
- Compile data, statistics, and other information, and order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, and greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas.
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Access.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
Personal Suitability:
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and reliability.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, Permanent, 35 hours per week, English language.
