About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Alpha's Bilingual Childcare Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
  • Childcare and Support
    • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
    • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
    • Lead activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and outings.
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks
    • Maintain daycare equipment.
    • Order supplies and equipment.
    • Assist in record-keeping and submitting written observations.
  • Certifications and Memberships
    • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
    • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
    • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
    • First Aid Certificate.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • College/CEGEP education.
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
    • Work Environment
      • Child care centre setting.
    • Personal Qualities
      • Punctuality.
      • Dependability.
      • Excellent oral communication skills.
      • Team player.
    Working Conditions
    • Physically demanding work environment.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    Language and Work Term
    • English language proficiency.
