About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education
    • Assist in the care and education of infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Support early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote learning and development.
  • Program Support
    • Assist in the preparation of snacks and meals for children.
    • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing play areas.
    • Support the planning and implementation of activities that promote learning and development.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve centre goals and objectives.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and submitting reports.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Punctuality and dependability.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability.
Working Conditions
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • Work language: English.
