Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures to enhance office efficiency.
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Delegate work to office support staff to optimize resource utilization.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and report preparation.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Train staff on new procedures and best practices.

Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Offer awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
