Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our production floor team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions in Guelph, ON. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and performing electrical wiring techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Assemble and install electrical components
- Operate a variety of machinery as part of the manufacturing process
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of directly related on-the-job experience
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs and robotics systems
- Previous experience in custom assembly of water treatment systems
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, and hydro-test PVC, PP, and PVDF pipe spools
