Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, gathering, editing, and implementing audio assets for our games. This includes managing assets through editing, naming, and organizing files using spreadsheet and database tools, as well as creating and implementing audio to immerse the player.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with audio leads and guidelines
  • Adhere to a schedule and submit final audio files by set deadlines
  • Manage assets through editing, naming, and organizing files
  • Create and implement audio to immerse the player
  • Verify and gather content for both creative and technical design aspects
  • Edit and Implement audio assets directly in our game engine and audio tools
  • Advocate for and help design audio pipeline features and workflow processes
  • Document audio systems and summarize them for the development team
  • Handle post-production audio for in-game video content
Requirements
  • 3+ years of game/audio experience
  • Experience designing audio from scratch, processing, and editing
  • Proficient in using game development tools, technology, and pipelines
  • Solid knowledge of modern audio creation equipment, software, and recording techniques
  • Experience with visual programming languages for audio
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming used to automate tasks
  • Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with SFX creation pipeline and implementation workflows
  • Experience working in surround
  • Experience with version control software
  • Experience with bug/task tracking tools
  • Experience with relational databases
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $69,450 - $96,250 per year in British Columbia, depending on location.
