3D Modeling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As an Environmental Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality game environments that bring our games to life.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Art Director to develop the visual style and tone of the game.
- Design and create game environments, including concept art, block models, and final game assets.
- Establish high-quality benchmark and prototype levels to ensure consistency and quality.
- Develop organic and hard surface models that meet the game's artistic vision.
- Utilize NextGen technology to produce rich and immersive environments.
- 6+ years of experience in the industry, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent spatial composition, lighting, color, and texture skills.
- Experience with environment aesthetics, function vs. form relationships, and what makes a game level fun and intriguing.
- Ability to convey a sense of 'story' in a scene or game asset, considering age, weathering, and context.
- Adaptability to different art styles, including photo-realistic and stylized.
- Proficiency in Maya, Max, Modo, or similar 3D modeling software.
- Experience with Substance Painter and terrain creation (both modeled and procedurally generated) is an advantage.
- Open World experience is a plus.
