Job Overview

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled 3D Modeling Specialist with strong analytical capabilities, proficient in utilizing Autodesk and/or Bentley AEC suite software for bridge and engineering structure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our team, you will:

  • Develop and produce detailed models and plans for engineering structures using software from the Autodesk AEC suite (Revit, Civil 3D) and/or Bentley (Openbridge, Microstation, Pro Structure).
  • Contribute actively to the advancement of BIM/VDC processes for bridge and engineering structure construction and renovation projects, collaborating with a team of technicians, draughtsmen, and engineers.
  • Ensure effective interdepartmental coordination in CAD and adherence to the quality assurance framework.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in drafting or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in civil engineering or architecture.
  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience in modeling structural, concrete, and steel components.
  • Proficiency in at least one 3D modeling software: Revit or Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with Bentley software, including Openbridge, Pro Structure, Microstation, Openroad, and Autodesk tools such as Inventor and InfraWorks (considered an asset).
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French.
  • Understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
