About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer – Vancouver Centre. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing quality cancer care to our patients, with a focus on lung/head & neck and/or gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise in the management of lung/head & neck and/or GI malignancies
  • Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program
  • Teach postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students
  • Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
Requirements
  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
