Medical Oncologist

BC Cancer is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its Kamloops Satellite Clinic team, operated by BC Cancer – Kelowna, and located in British Columbia's beautiful Interior Region.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will work with a well-established team of specialized medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals. They will participate in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities, reporting to the Department Head of Medical Oncology at BC Cancer – Kelowna.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research and trials
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement cancer care plans
- Contribute to the development of new cancer treatments and therapies
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Royal Inland Hospital
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine
