Medical Oncologist Opportunity at BC Cancer

BC Cancer is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its Vernon Clinic team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in British Columbia's Southern Interior Region.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work with a well-established team of medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals, participating in clinical, educational, administrative, and research activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement cancer treatment strategies
  • Contribute to clinical research and education initiatives
  • Report to the Department Head of Medical Oncology at BC Cancer – Kelowna
Requirements
  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Vernon Jubilee Hospital
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine
