Medical Oncologist

BC Cancer is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its Vernon Clinic team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in British Columbia's Southern Interior Region.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will work with a well-established team of medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals, participating in clinical, educational, administrative, and research activities.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement cancer treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research and education initiatives
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer and Vernon Jubilee Hospital
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine
