About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Hawk View Reno Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
  • Installation: Prepare and install hardwood floors, inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, and prepare floors for installations.
  • Removal and Cleanup: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment

As a Floor Covering Installer, you will work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
