Job Summary:
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide respiratory care to clients with various illnesses and diseases.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to work with us. Your responsibilities will include providing ongoing respiratory care, working independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team, consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining and advancing your clinical competence.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, broad knowledge of CSRT standards of practice and clinical practice guidelines, current respiratory care theory and practices within a client/family centred model of care, basic knowledge of research process and methodology, and demonstrated ability to plan and implement care plans.
