The salary range for this position is approximately $43,800 - $54,400 per year, based on a 37.5-hour workweek. This figure includes additional compensation for relevant experience and qualifications.


Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Rehabilitation team at the HOpe Centre in North Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to adult and older adult clients, enabling them to achieve optimal health outcomes through evidence-based assessments, interventions, and program planning.


Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client occupational performance to inform treatment plans
  • Develop and implement individualized services to promote independence and community reintegration
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to meet regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services

Required Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:



  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)
  • A minimum of two years' recent experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Certification in Trauma-Informed Practice, Harm Reduction, and Recovery-Oriented Care is highly desirable
