Indigenous Law Specialist

We are a national law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to Indigenous communities, governments, and businesses. Our team is passionate about advancing transformative change in an era of reconciliation and decolonization.
The position we are seeking a lawyer with 5-9 years of experience in BC, specializing in Aboriginal, constitutional, environmental, and/or administrative litigation.
This is a full-time opportunity, ideally based in Victoria, BC, with the possibility of travel to Indigenous communities.
To be successful, you must be a member in good standing with one or more Canadian law societies and willing to be called to the bar in BC, ON, and in the north.
A strong background in litigation, particularly in Aboriginal law, Constitutional law, environmental law, and/or administrative law, is essential.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Exceptional research, legal drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate complex and novel legal concepts in Court and to clients
Flexibility to work in Indigenous communities and a valid driver's license to access remote areas are necessary conditions of employment.
