Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Genesa Chartered Professional Accountants Corp. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify clients' financial goals and objectives, and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems, including financial planning and analysis.
  • Supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Analyze clients' financial records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices, and implement changes as needed.
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Examine accounting records, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients, and develop strategies to achieve their financial goals.
  • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to supervise a team of accountants.
