Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Genesa Chartered Professional Accountants Corp. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of our firm, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Accounting Systems: Design, implement, and maintain accounting systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in accounting software and systems.
