Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Genesa Chartered Professional Accountants Corp. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans for our clients, taking into account their financial goals and objectives.
  • Accounting Systems: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial records and documents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all financial transactions and records are in compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to clients and management, highlighting key financial information and trends.
  • Financial Advice: Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial affairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in accounting software and systems.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
