Regional Department Head

As a Regional Department Head - Emergency Medicine, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate functions and activities of department members in the facility, ensuring effective delivery of clinical services.
- Liaise with the Regional Department Head and department medical staff to establish, monitor, and ensure compliance with budget, volume, and quality targets.
- Ensure members of the department are engaged in multidisciplinary quality improvement and utilization management activities.
- Investigate complaints regarding care provided by medical staff within the facility.
- Attend meetings of the Multidisciplinary Healthcare Coordinating Committee and serve as a channel of communication between the regional department and facility staff.
- Current licensure with CPSBC and two years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
- Additional training in management is preferred, and prior academic leadership experience is an asset.
