Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Provisory Solutions Inc. as a Financial Record Keeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and classify financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
  • Accounting Systems
    • Operate and maintain accounting software, including Tally ERP and QuickBooks
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry
  • Communication
    • Communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
