We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Settlequick Inc. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting system, including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
