Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Use manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to establish, maintain, and balance various accounts.
- Payroll and Invoicing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and prepare other financial reports as required.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balance of books.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Basic security clearance, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Work Environment: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
- Language: English.
