Job Title: Junior Civil CADD Designer

At Integrated Sustainability, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Civil CADD Designer to join our team. As a Junior Civil CADD Designer, you will play a key role in supporting our projects that span multiple disciplines, delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop finished grading drawings, sketches, and Engineering Packages from general conceptual information and design notes using a variety of 2D and 3D CAD software for Water Infrastructure Projects;
  • Develop grading and drainage design models using AutoCAD Civil 3D under the direction of a Senior Designer
  • Process survey, point cloud and lidar terrain data
  • Supporting field teams as needed during construction including surveying, field construction observation, inspection, and administration of field works
  • Liaising with engineers and other disciplines to achieve high-quality and constructible design packages.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in civil engineering design, 3D modelling and drafting using Civil 3D
  • Experience in Civil 3D using grading objects, corridors and the use of data shortcuts
  • Diploma in Civil Design Course or Engineering Design Technology (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Registration with Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta, or qualifications to apply are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
