Civil Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Royal Design Centre. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in the development of our projects, working closely with our engineers and designers to ensure that our clients receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
  • Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects.
  • Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.


Requirements:


  • College/CEGEP diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Working Conditions:


  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Work Schedule:


  • 32 to 40 hours per week.
