About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Designer to join our team at Integrated Sustainability. As a Junior Civil CADD Designer, you will play a key role in supporting projects that span multiple disciplines within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop finished grading drawings, sketches, and Engineering Packages from general conceptual information and design notes using a variety of 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Develop grading and drainage design models using AutoCAD Civil 3D under the direction of a Senior Designer.
  • Process survey, point cloud, and lidar terrain data.
  • Support field teams as needed during construction, including surveying, field construction observation, inspection, and administration of field works.
  • Liaise with engineers and other disciplines to achieve high-quality and constructible design packages.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of proven experience in civil engineering design, 3D modeling, and drafting using Civil 3D.
  • Experience in Civil 3D using grading objects, corridors, and data shortcuts.
  • Diploma in Civil Design Course or Engineering Design Technology (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Registration with Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta, or qualifications to apply are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
