Childcare Administrator

Saplings Outdoor Program is seeking a highly skilled Childcare Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our childcare programs, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accounting tasks, including payroll, account reconciliation, and banking.
- Create monthly invoices and track accounts receivable.
- Set up projects in accounting, time tracking, and collaboration systems.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to accounting.
- Perform administrative tasks to manage the organization, such as ordering supplies.
- Financial statement creation.
- Create notices for employees.
- Enroll new staff into the benefits plan.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Proven experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable roles.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and payroll rules and regulations.
- Familiarity with group booking software such as Amilia.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and work under time constraints.
- Able to solve problems and work well independently.
Saplings Outdoor Program is a nature-based program located in West Vancouver for children ages 2.5-9 years old. We provide children with an opportunity to connect with the environment in a safe and enjoyable way.
