Community Development Leader

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive and productive culture within our organization. This includes coaching and developing the skills of our engineers, as well as advising them on their work to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering team to support regulatory reporting systems
  • Oversee solution design, development, and implementation plan within the group
  • Lead/manage a team of Engineers/Technology Specialists and oversee related engineering analysis activities and deliverables
  • Provide overall team leadership, training, coaching, development, succession, recruitment and resource management, and ensures on-going performance feedback and assessments occur and development plans exist for each team member
  • Execute on Engineering strategy as it relates to the introduction of tools and the automation of build, test, release and configure activities across Application, Platform and Infrastructure
  • Engage executive stakeholders appropriately to review progress and obtain input, validation and approval of key decisions
  • Anticipate client needs to influence the development of innovative engineering solutions as well as business strategies
Requirements:
  • University or post-graduate degree
  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
  • Microsoft based technology, including.Net and MS SQL, azure knowledge and TD Azure implementation experience
  • Experience with Non-retail source system data
  • End-to-end software Engineering mindset, and familiar with the TD software development control standards
  • Resource prioritization, offshore resource management experience
  • Source code control, fully understand the branching strategy to support the complex SQL database deployment
  • Software Solution design skills and complex software development plan execution
