Strategic Leader for Community Development

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Leader to join our team at Weston Frontlines Centre. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of senior staff to ensure effective delivery of programs and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, community partners, and funders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs that further our strategic directions.
- Ensure the effective management of our finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support our programs and services.
- Collaborate with our Programs Manager to identify programmatic and facility needs and coordinate the development of grant and proposal applications.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience working at a senior management level.
- Educational background in community development, social work, or fundraising (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Relevant experience leading a senior management team.
- Experience in grant/proposal writing.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work with communities of diverse backgrounds.
