Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst Lead to join our Projects Accounting and Construction team in Montreal, Canada. This role will be responsible for analyzing business needs, developing technical requirements, and collaborating with software developers to design and implement new or enhanced functionality.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and develop detailed technical specifications for software development projects
  • Work closely with product managers, software developers, and QA engineers to ensure that business needs are met and that software meets the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources, analyze, test, and document functionality as necessary
  • Demonstrate features and enhancements being developed to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
  • Higher technical education in computer systems, systems and networks; information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics and informatics
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP system analysis, software design and development of functional specifications
  • Candidates should be able to provide a portfolio with examples of past specifications upon request
  • Experience in business software development industry – 5+ years
  • Previous experience working as a Software Developer, Programming Analyst or other coding related work is a strong advantage
