Seeking a Medical Support Professional to join our team at Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). We are driven by the commitment to improve front-line patient care for Saskatchewan people and work together to better coordinate health services across the province.

The estimated salary for this role is $1550 per day, based on contract payment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting Nurse Practitioners in various capacities, including co-seeing patients, Quality Improvement initiatives, and chart reviews.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Co-see patients with Nurse Practitioners as required or attend to urgent patient chart reviews within 7 days.
  • See patients as needed if no Nurse Practitioner is available.
  • Provide telephone consultation support to Nurse Practitioners in Borden and Delisle.
  • Actively engage in Quality Improvement initiatives and QI/education activities.
  • Attend meetings with SHA colleagues approximately once monthly.
