Job Description

The University of Toronto is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Global Health Program Assistant in the Centre for Global Public Health.

About the Centre for Global Public Health

The Centre for Global Public Health is an academic hub for global health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Our team is committed to catalyzing collaborative, interdisciplinary, and equity-informed global health research, offering global health education and training across the education continuum, and working closely with strategic partners to build a global health network.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide program support to students and internal stakeholders by responding to inquiries and redirecting as appropriate.
  • Analyze and make recommendations for programming enhancements for various training programs.
  • Liaise with students and faculty to coordinate program activities, including providing detailed information on program requirements.
  • Maintain information on digital platforms, including course information on student information systems.
  • Support student work-integrated learning activities, making recommendations for enhancements with programming and administrative processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience coordinating academic and/or instructional programs, preferably within a university.
  • Demonstrated student services experience, including experience coordinating education programs and examination timetables.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating events, sourcing vendors, monitoring budgets, and executing logistical tactics.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,844 - $90,595 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is a term appointment until October 2025, with the possibility of renewal.
