Kingston, Ontario, Canada ACT Learning Centre Full time
About the Role

ACT Learning Centre is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Kingston clinic, where you will play a vital role in our Entry-to-School (ETS) program and our private practice.

Job Description

This unique role involves dividing your time between our government-funded ETS program and our private practice. The ETS program is a 12-month program that supports autistic children as they prepare and start school for the first time. You will be part of a supervisory team that provides transition support to school teams during the second 6 months of the program.

In addition to your role in ETS, you will deliver personalized speech-language pathology services within our private practice. This may include working with children to develop essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and pre-academic learning.

We offer a hybrid work model that allows for some remote work based on program needs. Our dedicated intake team manages scheduling and pre-service documentation, enabling you to focus more on therapy and less on administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality speech-language pathology services to clients
  • Participate in the ETS program as a member of the supervisory team
  • Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation
  • Adhere to organizational policies regarding assessment protocols and therapeutic techniques
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent qualification
  • Membership (or eligibility for) with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Experience working directly with autistic or neurodiverse children
  • The ability to provide service in both English and French is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, paid vacation and sick leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
