Hotel Guest Services Coordinator
About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Guest Services Coordinator to join our team at Wheatland Hotel. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure a smooth check-in experience.
- Reservations and Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
- Cash Handling and Balance: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and handle related forms.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about local attractions, resolve complaints and issues, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- 1-7 Months Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent experience is essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks, including cash handling and room assignments.
