Veterinary Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Professional to join our team at Kingston Veterinary Clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Animal Conditions: Conduct thorough physical examinations and laboratory tests to diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks.
- Provide Medical Care: Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
- Preventative Care: Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases.
- Client Education: Advise clients on feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care of animals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce government regulations in disease control and food production, including animal or animal-based food inspection.
- Examinations and Procedures: Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations.
- Additional Services: Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia.
- Licensure: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Physical Demands: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, reliability, team player, values and ethics, and resourcefulness.
