Veterinary Practice Operations Manager

VCA Canada Beardall Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Hospital Manager. This position involves overseeing various administrative functions within the practice, working closely with both the Regional Director and the Medical Director. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment for a diverse team that is committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care to pets and their owners.
Essential Qualifications:- At least 2-3 years of leadership experience managing a team of up to 30 employees across different roles
- Experience in customer relations and financial oversight
- Strong organizational skills, including staff scheduling and office management
- Proven leadership capabilities to enhance team dynamics and improve patient services
- Excellent communication skills to maintain a positive workplace atmosphere and build professional relationships with clients
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks effectively, and implement positive changes within the organization
- Act as a representative of the hospital and VCA Canada within the professional community and to clients
- Guide and develop veterinary, technical, and administrative personnel to ensure high-quality patient care
- Oversee recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes with Regional Management's approval
- Manage financial performance and collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure smooth hospital operations
