About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Hefty Construction Ltd. as a key member of our residential construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Monitor and control project costs, materials, and labor to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on project progress, costs, and other relevant information.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, engineering, etc.).
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the construction industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Working Conditions
