We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Construction Supervisor to join our team at AWCSIT CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The General Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge
Work Environment:

The General Construction Supervisor will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to construction sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
