Job Description:

Roma Fence is seeking a seasoned sales professional to spearhead fence sales for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's customer base, generating new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sales of residential, commercial, and institutional fence solutions
  • Leads are provided, with a focus on prospecting for new projects/opportunities through networking, research, and consultation while nurturing leads
  • Expand customer base by cold calling potential clients to generate potential business opportunities
  • Respond to leads within a 24-48 hour period
  • Follow up on quotations given out
  • Quantity take-offs and material lists along with associated quotes for fence projects
  • Maintain high-level communication with internal and external channels
  • Collaborate with the installation team to assess and address change orders for changes on-site
  • Promote product lines
  • Perform other sales-related duties, including site visits and site walks
  • Submit contracts with necessary contract documents
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in outside sales
  • Ability to read plans, landscape drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Familiarity with the fencing/construction industry is an asset
  • Excellent relationship-building ability
  • Strong communication skills (phone etiquette and face-to-face service)
  • Flexibility: some evenings and weekends as desired
  • Motivated, collaborative, results-oriented, competitive, and customer-focused individual
  • Team player who can work closely with managers and other internal departments
  • Must have own transportation
  • Must hold and maintain a current and valid G Ontario Driver's License
Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary $65,000 - $80,000 per year + commission. Residential Sales Territory includes Brampton, Concord, Downsview, Malton, Maple, North York, Toronto. Commercial Sales Territory: Per project and lead assignments, tenders, etc.
