Our client, a well-established foundry in London, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Leader to join a dynamic and professional team of trades. As the primary support for 12-15 trades, you will oversee installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance. However, your 60-day challenge is to develop a control management system to enhance business growth and resource efficiency.

* $80,000.00-$110,000.00 annual salary, commensurate with experience

Job Responsibilities:

* Coordinate regular maintenance activities, ensuring internal and contractor-led installations and repairs
* Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system
* Create and document preventative maintenance tasks
* Assist in the development of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program
* Manage the Work Order (WO) system
* Provide proactive support and solutions, adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
* Develop clear accountability for maintenance costs, including root cause analysis and expenditure management
* Manage new machinery procurement, from specification development to full installation

Requirements:

* 5-10 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
* Degree, diploma, or skilled trade certificate in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
* Strong understanding of engineering concepts, including electrical and mechanical systems
* Knowledge of maintenance policies and procedures on manufacturing equipment
* Experience working in a high-growth business and a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment
