Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Funding Supervisor to join our team at Kawartha Credit Union. As a key member of our lending operations, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of Credit Associates and ensuring the provision of excellent member service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of Credit Associates, ensuring adherence to corporate policy and procedures.
  • Conduct just-in-time coaching sessions with Credit Associates to strengthen skill and competency levels.
  • Assist with training Credit Associates, ensuring a consistent and thorough training program is in place.
  • Act as a first line of defense on risk management activities, completing reports and providing recommendations to management.
  • Oversee the custody of collateral security, including preparation, registration, and validation of security documentation.
  • Responsible for auditing and reviewing Mortgage Renewal agreements and letters, commitment letters, and amendments.
  • Provide support to all consumer lending positions as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Post-secondary education with an emphasis in business administration would be preferred
  • Three to five years of lending or loan administration experience
  • Supervisory experience would be an asset
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of risk management policies and procedures, consumer and commercial credit policies, and credit products and services
