Job Title: RBC Financial Advisor

About the Role:

As a Financial Advisor at RBC, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with high-value clients, providing expert advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, identifying opportunities to grow and deepen relationships, and collaborating with internal partners to provide comprehensive financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored advice and solutions.
  • Financial Planning: Provide expert advice on everyday banking, investments, and credit, and collaborate with internal partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and internal partners, using active listening and empathy to understand client needs and concerns.
  • Digital Enablement: Champion digital enablement, educating clients on self-service options and leveraging technology to enhance the client experience.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow and deepen relationships, and collaborate with internal partners to develop and implement business plans.

Requirements:

  • Education: Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
  • Experience: 1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships, digital literacy, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
