Mental Health Therapist Position with Fraser Health Authority

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide person-centered care to individuals with mental health and concurrent disorders.
Main Responsibilities:- Care coordination for clients through interprofessional collaboration, intake functions, mental health assessments, and treatment planning
- Direct nursing care to clients, including physical and psychosocial assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration
- Development and implementation of individualized care plans using strengths-based models and motivational interviewing techniques
- Therapeutic relationship establishment and maintenance with clients and their support networks
- Treatment services including crisis intervention, individual counseling, and education

Requirements:- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- One year of recent experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders in a community or acute setting
