Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide direct resident care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
