Winterberry Family Medicine is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary health care to our patients, working collaboratively with our Family Physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide routine check-ups, health assessments, and screenings to patients
- Develop and implement health plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide treatment as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in primary care
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the extended class with the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- Current CPR and BCLS certification
- Experience working in a family practice, community, or primary health care setting (an orientation to primary care will be provided)
- Competitive hourly rate of $68.00
- 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible schedule
