Associate Director of Care RN

Glen Rouge Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Director of Care RN to join our team. As a key member of our Long Term Care team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that address the individual needs and preferences of residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas of improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance resident outcomes.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate nursing professionals, including Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN), and Personal Support Workers (PSW).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing long-term care homes in Ontario or British Columbia.

Requirements:
  • Completed a Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post-diploma education.
  • Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a nurse in Long Term Care.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting.
