Job Overview

The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at CAMH is a hub for innovative research and policy development in the field of mental health. As a Program Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of the IMHPR, working closely with senior leaders, scientists, and staff to advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate key initiatives related to research infrastructure and equipment.
  • Support the Administrative Director and Managers on day-to-day tasks, including procurement, financial reconciliations, and budgeting.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a research or academic setting, preferably in a customer-facing role
* Proven project management skills, including experience with grant writing and budgeting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
* Proficiency in common office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
